A temple in the Hito District.
Komachi's Travel Guide
Constructed by the Isawa at the dawning of the empire, this large temple is devoted to the elemental kami. The four buildings at its corners each represent one of water, air, fire, and earth, and each are alive with that energy. The floors of the earth room are soft earth that seems to move beneath the feet of those who enter. The walls of the water room are cool and fluid to the touch, with ripples forming where they are touched. The air room’s fixtures are crystallized glass, and the air moves as though a constant breeze stirs within its walls. Lastly, the fire room is a long hall of dark woods with a great fireplace on one side and hundreds of candles adorning the walls. The ground is a thick layer of ash which no amount of stamping will crush entirely.
To the rear of the structure is a courtyard with one final room. This room has four simple walls and an arched wooden ceiling, and seems quiet and empty.
