A strange lost-and-found in the Hidari district.
Komachi's Travel Guide
This strange place is operated by a nervous little man named Yoshino, who has made it his life’s goal to return lost items to their proper owners. He wanders the city in the evening, collecting misplaced items and bringing them back here to be cataloged in the hand-crafted racks that line his walls.
Tadaji's Memoirs
It’s strange how one can live in this city for nearly a lifetime and still be surprised by it.
I lost a scroll of poetry, a gift from Shosuro Kyoto. I can’t say how or where, but I couldn’t bear to face her and have to admit my carelessness.
Imagine my surprise when I received a message summoning me to this strange little shop in the Hidari district. T____ and I ventured out, intrigued by the mystery. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the proprietor, a heimin named Yoshino. He was quite excited to see me, although nervous of my presence, as one might expect. He disappeared into the back, behind a curtain, then emerged with the scroll. T____ was delighted, asking how Yoshino had found it and identified it as mine, but the only response he received was an uncomfortable shrug.
