The proprietor, Tsuyuge, specializes in brewing tea, collecting leaves and recipes from all across the Empire. He vies with Ryoju of the Chisei District for the title of “finest” brewer in the city. Many have made a hobby of comparing the wares of both, particularly just after the first caravans of spring arrive. This indulgence has become something of a tradition in Otosan Uchi for nobility and commoners alike.
The doors of the inn are open to people of all backgrounds, and Tsuyuge is a master of making everyone feel at home, even when they would usually be at each other’s throats.
