Komachi's Travel Guide
Golden kanji upon its surface name every person who died along its length or upon its high fortifications, and their spirits bond with it. The spirits protect and rebuild the wall. Over centuries, it has become a religious icon, with temples constructed on both sides, drawing pilgrims from throughout Rokugan.
At the southern corner of the Eastern wall is the gate house that sits on the Road of the Most High and serves as the primary entrance into the Ekohikei.
The first thing anyone approaching the gate sees is a fifteen foot tall torii arch, forged entirely of crystal. Its edges run flush with the flanking walls of the gate house, ensuring that all who enter through this gate must pass underneath it.
