Do the Phoenix resent the recreation of this position? Do they see it as an insult? I find it more than a little curious that the only Jade Champion who managed to survive more than a couple years was Isawa Tatsuo—A Phoenix!
Or is this a deeper, darker conspiracy? The oni walk among us. I HAVE SEEN THEM! They can go unseen, unknown. Have they penetrated as far as the Imperial City? Do they fear an established Jade Champion will uncover their horrible plots?
