Juramashi has always had a problem holding onto governors. Except for the district’s founder, Juramashi (who lasted nearly a decade), no governor has remained in control of this district for more than a year.
The most recent choice is Seppun Meyori, a confident man who seems oddly out optimistic for his position. “The world is as it is,” he once said. “What else can one do but marvel at it and be thankful for it?”
