Younger brother of the Crane Clan Champion, Kuwanan has led an interesting life. He trained with both the Lion and the Crab, and fought for a time beyond the Wall. When his father, the Emerald Champion, was banished by Hantei XXXVIII, Kuwanan was one of the few Crane who stayed at the Emperor’s side. For years now, he has provided a voice of moderation and seems one of the few people who manage to maintain favor both with the Crane clan and the Imperial Court.
